Hi,
got my first ever mac today - trying to come to terms with it... and of 
course installing csound on it!
 From the soundforge pages I see that there are only compiled installers 
up to OSX10.5. Does this mean that I have to compile from source, or can 
I use the 10.5 installer?

yes, the 10.5 installer also works for 10.6, and qutecsound 061 is fine
for 10.6 (but has some problems with 10.5).
