There are one or two pops in the recording I've been listening to. I
don't think it's a result of ripping the track as mp3 as they sound as
though they are being passed through some filters. They are
intentional?

Hi Rory,

Some of the waveguide parameters use randomized s&h envelopes. I've 
worked on some approaches for smoothing too sudden transitions, 
obviously I'm not totally successful yet.

Btw, I use lame for the compression to MP3. Bitrate is only 192. Ouch.

The recording needs some mastering love, sure. :)
