Subject[Csnd] bright reverb
Hi,

I am preparing to perform "Laconisme de l'aile" by Kaija Saariaho.
It uses harmonizer and reverberation for electronics. The instructions
http://www.chesternovello.com/documents/additional/laconisme.htm say about the
reverb:

one should select a bright reverberation without any other effects.

What do you suggest, what is bright reverb? The damping time of higgh
frequencies is long? What opcode of the csound reverbs or other tricks do you
suggest to use?

greetings,
tarmo

The reverb opcode is pretty bright! (Schroeder reverb with 4 combs + 2 allpass filters, no dampening whatsoever).

Saariaho loves her reverb!

Surely there is already a standalone max app for this. Try this:

Thanks! I will have a lokk on some MacMachine. Since I am a linux guy :) I have to create my own csound based solution. Perhaps, indeed, just reverb is enough.
