my kids lost a couple of my wiimotes. i had to go buy another one, but they only had the motion plus built in version. i could not get the motion plus one to connect, sadly cutting my design for a show on friday. today in the post-mortem, i have discovered that the fWiine project is has a fork of wiiuse that appears to have code for the motion plus. http://sourceforge.net/projects/fwiine/files/wiiuse/0.13/ seems to have the data collection for the 3 gyros in the source. anyone had time to fiddle with this yet? k. |

I did not know about the change to wiimotes. I will look into the fwiine fork; hope it is compatible with the earlier code ==John ff > my kids lost a couple of my wiimotes. i had to go buy another one, but > they only had the motion plus built in version. i could not get the > motion plus one to connect, sadly cutting my design for a show on > friday. today in the post-mortem, i have discovered that the fWiine > project is has a fork of wiiuse that appears to have code for the motion > plus. > > http://sourceforge.net/projects/fwiine/files/wiiuse/0.13/ > > seems to have the data collection for the 3 gyros in the source. anyone > had time to fiddle with this yet? > > k. > > > Send bugs reports to the Sourceforge bug tracker > https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=81968&atid=564599 > Discussions of bugs and features can be posted here > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body "unsubscribe > csound" > > > > |

I have looked at the code. It does indeed seem to have code for motion plus even if it is not compiled in the Makefile. There also seems to be support for OSX which should allow the opcodes to be used on a mac. I think the stuff is in objective C so will need some assistance from other developers. I have fixed the bug in v0.12 code which had not been applied in v0.13 and am arranging to compile motion plus. I cannot test as I only have old wiimotes. So I need volunteers on Windows and Linux, as well as OSX support ==John ff > >> my kids lost a couple of my wiimotes. i had to go buy another one, but >> they only had the motion plus built in version. i could not get the >> motion plus one to connect, sadly cutting my design for a show on >> friday. today in the post-mortem, i have discovered that the fWiine >> project is has a fork of wiiuse that appears to have code for the motion >> plus. >> >> http://sourceforge.net/projects/fwiine/files/wiiuse/0.13/ >> >> seems to have the data collection for the 3 gyros in the source. anyone >> had time to fiddle with this yet? >> >> k. >> >> >> Send bugs reports to the Sourceforge bug tracker >> https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=81968&atid=564599 >> Discussions of bugs and features can be posted here >> To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body "unsubscribe >> csound" >> >> >> >> > > > > > Send bugs reports to the Sourceforge bug tracker > https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=81968&atid=564599 > Discussions of bugs and features can be posted here > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body "unsubscribe > csound" > > > > |
