Subject[Csnd] csound in debian
Finally (!) I uploaded today csound 5.17.6 to debian. Please test and
report any bugs, because I switched from scons to cmake.

Changes from debian usually follow shortly into Ubuntu. I'm not really
familiar with the Ubuntu processes, but as far as I can tell,
unfortunately this release will not be part of the next Ubuntu
release, because it is targeted for 2 weeks from now, and it is not
merging changes from Debian anymore.

Sorry

Great! Precise is supposed to release this week, AFAICT. Lets hope

Great, Felipe.

Is this the one I should use/try for Ubuntu ?

Where did you upload it to, Sourceforge.

I guess I would install a .deb package with the Ubuntu
software installer.

This sounds great.
