| Greetings,
I've marked this post OT because I doubt Cs6 has anything specific to do
with the problem, which is: None of the JOGL shaders appear to work in
the latest AVSynthesis when run with Csound6. Jean-Pierre confirms my
doubt, but since he's not running Linux we're at a bit of a loss how I
can proceed with debugging the problem.
So, I could use a little help from the Java gurus here on the lists. I'm
no Java coder, I use Eclipse to build JP's code, but I'm willing to try
anything. Alas, no errors are reported, in fact everything seems to be
running exactly as the same code runs with Cs5 and AVS on another i586
machine. Both boxes are running nVidia chipsets and drivers, and both
are set up with Ubuntu 12.04 and the KXStudio overlay. However, Csound
is locally compiled, I never use the repo versions. Btw, the GPU in
question is an 8200M, with the latest driver. I have also tested with
the other available drivers from Ubuntu's repo, still got no joy.
Please advise if you can point me in the right direction to debug the
problem. Audio is working fine, btw. The only issue now is with the
shader transformations, i.e. they aren't working. All suggestions
appreciated !
Best,
dp
