Subject[Csnd] midi on android?
Hi guys,
I know that you can use usb midi with android apps, but its basically so complex there is literally only one app on the market that supports usb midi and its written from scratch.

I'm wondering if the android csound has support for midi controllers or if its device only (touchscreen, butttons accelerometer, etc..).

FYI: I put together a little MIDI library for Android a little while ago: https://github.com/nettoyeurny/btmidi

FYI, there is a MIDI module for Android written by my friend Peter Brinkmann. If it suits our needs, I think we should bring it into Csound 6 for Android.

Sounds great, we should try to match up with the API design for MIDI on iOS so that projects can translate between the platforms easily.

Sure, why not. I have yet to look at the code, is it Java or C/C++?
