| Phillip Taylor Kramer- former bass guitar player for the rock band
Iron Butterfly was a friend of mine, former roomy and physics brain.
I used to crew for that band. His mother's maiden name is Chapman,
he was related to Johnny Appleseed on his mother's side of the family.
John Chapman was a topic of discussion with us from time to time.
Taylor had a letter given him by his mom that dated back to, I think 1846,
if my memory is correct. Old paper, cursive writing, India style ink, with
a quill tip like modern pen of the day. I used to do a lot of calligraphy
back then, so Taylor thought I might find it interesting. It was, it was cool,
a piece of his family history. Ironically, at the time, I was dating
a girl who was claimed to be a descendant of Robert E. Lee. I didn't
have reason to doubt it, they had sufficient bonafides.

ps: say hello to John Chapman for me.

Yes it is. His grave is supposedly here. An interesting bit of trivia!
