Yes, the command-line is installed too.

However, coming from a windows (tm) world, i have come to fear "rich"
installations, that is, installations containing more than i will actually
be using. This may sound silly, of course.

It may be a good idea, to provide us with the option of selectively
installing what we need (while running the OS X installer), instead of
having everything installed by force (so to speak). :)

So (the insisting character said), is there a guide for building it on the
10.5.5 or not ?

Hello again

Recently i showed my interest in compiling Csound on OS X Leopard 10.5.5.

This page:

http://www.nabble.com/Compiling-on-Mac-OS-X-10.5-Leopard-td20200630.html

provides hope. It appears that Anthony has a guide for this sort of thing.

Could you please provide access to this information?

A kind reminder.
I still need that info, if available.
Weekends should not be wasted in resting.

For everyone's information, I have finally posted my notes on how to compile
Csound 5.09 on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. You can read about it in this blog
post on cSounds.com:

http://www.csounds.com/node/305

I will also point out though that I expect to help Victor with the next
Csound release (in about a month) by building Leopard-specific packages of
Csound for both PPC and Intel. So, unless you have an immediate need for a
Csound built on Leopard*, I would recommend waiting instead of trying to
build it yourself. (It took me 13 hours -- hopefully it would take you less
with my instructions. And the process consumes nearly 3 GB of disk space if
you don't already have the Apple dev tools installed).

* The 10.4 Csound packages mostly work on Leopard already. Problem areas
include Python-related functionality and CsWish on Intel. Also, my
understanding is that using blue with the Csound API also requires a
"doubles" version of Csound and will require that you build it yourself on
any version of OS X.
