no problems whatsoever with gbuzz here. i tested your orchestra on two
different linux boxes, running floats and doubles versions of
csound5.09 

there _are_ some problems with dispfft, though. it's not very accurate
and shows a distorted spectrum. did you try to visualize and analyze
the audio output using external tools like wavesurfer, or are you
relying solely on the output of dispfft?

It does sound like it looks like. I don't think it's a plotting issue.

My system is gentoo linux compiled with flags -O2 -march=pentium4.

I'm using a custom csound build. The scons parameters for the build were:

customCXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4" usePortAudio=0 usePortMIDI=1
buildCsound5GUI=1 useOSC=1 buildPythonOpcodes=1 dynamicCsoundLibrary=1
buildInterfaces=1 buildVirtual=1

csound version is: Csound version 5.09 beta (float samples)

I'll try the example with a different csound version in order to see what
happens.

Same for 5.09 beta (double samples), but works for 5.08 beta (float
samples).
