| Hi.
I've just tried on Linux and WindowsXP, version 5.18 on both and now
5.19 on Windows, and the example provided for the p5 glove fails with
this:
===================================================================
C:\Csound>csound examples\opcode_demos\p5glove.csd
Csound version 5.19.02 (double samples) Jan 27 2013
Reading options from $CSOUNDRC: C:\Csound\.csoundrc
Reading options from local directory .csoundrc
UnifiedCSD: examples\opcode_demos\p5glove.csd
Creating options
Creating orchestra
Creating score
graph init
error: syntax error, unexpected NEWLINE, expecting T_OPCODE or ',' (token "
") line 38:
>>> p5gconnect <<<
Parsing failed due to invalid input!
Stopping on parser failure
===================================================================
Same output for all trials. The opcode is still in the manuals in 5.18
and 5.19. Nothing in the output of csound -z. Has it been
discontinued?
It's a shame about the P5. There's so much info all over the internet
about the potential uses for it, but it's so awkward to actually use
that no one seems to have done much with it.
Thanks.
