[Csnd] 5.12.3 OSX release

Subject[Csnd] 5.12.3 OSX release
Here we go again...

After staying up until midnight to diagnose the issue with portmidi on
OSX 10.5, I am happy to announce it has been fixed (for now) and I am
releasing a bugfix package (5.12.3) that includes a working re-entrant
portmidi module.

It's now up on sourceforge as 5.12.3-OSX10.5-Intel. Again, hopefully
if this is settled, I will produce a 10.4 package (for Intel) too.

Regards

Victor

Thanks so much Victor.

It seems to be stable now!  Back to work with Csound and MIDI (and the Bohlen-Pierce Scale!)

For those of you at all interested, here is a collection of Bohlen-Pierce MIDI instruments that I have
just collected/converted/adapted/created.... and a little Max 4 Live instrument, by my student Jinku Kim,
that let's you compose and perform in that environment - if you have Max 4 Live, Max5 and csound~ installed.

PS:  We are co-hosting a huge international Bohlen-Pierce Conference in Boston this coming weekend.
It will feature BP compositions by Csounders - Lou Cohen, Steven Yi, John ffitch, Jacob Joaquin, Diane Douglas,
Seiya Matsumiya, Jinku Kim, Mike Moser-Booth, and Dr. B.

Here is a link to what's happening:  http://bohlen-pierce-conference.org/

Thank you Victor.

I do not have any problem, yet.

It is working good with my Mac OSX 10.6.2

No crash with Quecsound / your new opcode tpscal works good.

No crash with Max/ Max for Live.

Thank you so much.

Best,

Jinku Kim
