Subject[Csnd] ++SPAM++ Csound 5.11 under windows, can't get hetro or adsyn to work properly
Hello,
I'd like to know if it is normal that i can't get something else than white noise out of adsyn with the doubles version of csound.

I can get things to work properly with the floats version of csound but the doubles version doesn't seem to work for me.

What did i do wrong ?  Is this a known behavior ?  Could it be a bug ?

It's really not a big problem since i usually use the floats version.  I just tried the doubles version to see if it would help to fix another problem i experience with qutecsound.

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you're making the analysis file with the float. Since
it is a binary file I think it has to be made with the same (float/
double) build of csound.

Best,

P

Thanks for the information!

I'm sure i had uninstalled the floats version of csound and rebooted before installing and using the doubles version.  I regenerated the hetro file with those executables.

Maybe someone who's using windows with the doubles version could check this issue.  To spare me the time to uninstall my current csound and reinstall the floats version.  Which takes some time on my computer.

I'll recheck this issue more in depth sometime soon.

Thanks a lot!
