Hello,

I try to use the slider8 opcode but when starting CSound segfaults 
without giving a hint. Its the latest Csound release custom compiled for 
doubles on Linux, anything which I should know?

Just a wild guess,
do you have line breaks with backslash in your instrument?
(might be fixed, but seems like this was a problem)

of course I do, I want to keep everything readable and its recommended 
in the manual. And that was the problem. Everything on one line works 
perfect! Thanks for the fast help.

So its still broken in 5.12.

Hi,

Yes, this was fixed quickly just after the release, so it would be
important to make a new src release... and a retag (or has this been
done?)
