Lecturer in Music
University of York - Department of Music
Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Music available from October
2012. We
seek a Lecturer specializing in electronic music, with an interest in one
or more of
the following areas: multiple media art, popular culture, sound art, critical
discourse relating to contemporary music.
Information about the range of research and teaching at York can be found

You will contribute equally to research, teaching and administration and
will have
prior experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You
will
teach a minimum of two undergraduate modules (projects) a year, will
contribute to
the teaching of the Masters course in Music Technology, supervise PhD
students, and
contribute the Department's international research profile.
