I'm happy to report that the next Windows installer, Csound 5.15, which I will upload to SourceForge in the next day or so, will have a new build of PortAudio with support for WDM-KS drivers (Windows driver model kernel streaming drivers). These drivers do have low latency, and most most audio hardware on even moderately new versions of Windows works with these drivers.
