Hi guys

I've recently gone through the tutorials on youtube to introduce myself to
Csound. Im trying to design a script to work in realtime with OSC protocol
that can loop samples (I guess with something like the flooper2?) and freeze
them at will in the fashion of the mincer opcode.
However since discovering appropriate opcodes online theres a bit of a jump
between the youtube tutorials and more advance DSP. I was wondering if
people had any interesting methods they used to learn Csound or useful
sources online? I guess the nature of coding is trial and error... To
achieve the goal Im trying to reach is it normal to combine patches or even

possible to have values in Pure Data talk to Csound through OSC to alter
variables to loop samples indefinitely in realtime(loop on/off sort of
thing?) I've uploaded these two screen shots where Im trying to get a 9
second loop going with a flooper2 opcode and a mincer opcode just to
demonstrate some of the things Im getting from the terminal...
Also is it possible, in interest of further tailoring patches, to see the
opcode scripts inside mincer or flooper2 in this case and make your own,
have people managed that at all?
Anyway a bit of a stream of conscience  there so I hope Im making sense I
basically just need some assisstance or advice as to what sort of steps I
should take to get these sort of opcodes I mentioned working in the same
script in realtime with OSC.

I've also been in touch with Iain McCurdy whose shown me example scripts like
