with reference to previous posts applying the analogy of a 
guitar player, let me say that as one, I was perfectly willing 
to struggle and dedicate myself to the peculiarities of the 
instrument, as I am with csound.  But even though I am 
interested somewhat in how a guitar is constructed, I do not 
foresee myself ever needing to build one.  And if it had been a 
requirement prior to learning to play, I'd have stuck to singing 
unaccompanied!!

Hi Bob,

Working with Csound isn't always about instrument building. There are 
plenty of pre-built instruments for Csound, and like your guitar you 
have to learn to play them. Then you have to learn to play them well.
