[Csnd] Adding "Report Bug" to csound.sourceforge.net

Subject[Csnd] Adding "Report Bug" to csound.sourceforge.net
I don't know who holds to the keys to csound.sourceforge.net, so I'm posting this to the list in hopes that it finds the right person.

Now that there is a place to report bugs via the web, is it possible to add a section called "Report Bugs" to the csound.sourceforge.net page? A link this important might also be worth adding to the quick links at csounds.com and mentioned on the first page of the manual.

From what I can tell, it seems like the bug tracker is already being used somewhat effectively. Personally, it's nice to be able to scan through bug tracker instead of having to do multiple searches of the list.

Best,
Jake

Subject[Csnd] OSX/QuteCsound crash with portmidi
Hi all,

I'm trying to use a MIDI controller in OSX / QuteCsound, but it crashes when I select the portmidi option.
This is a QuteCsound version that came with the csound 5.12 sourceforge package.
I'm new in OSX and in QuteCsound ( before I worked with Winxound )
but I do have this MIDI informations in other applications (Live, ...).
Does anybody know what I can do?
thanks!

There is a problem with portmidi, which allows you to run it only once in QuteCsound.  However, if you choose 'run in term' instead, it will be OK, since the portmidi issue is to do with its via the API.

Dr. B,

If you could advise me on where the tutorial and example zip files you
had me link to have gone, or if you'd like the dead links
removed/changed, please let me know.

Thanks a lot!
