In tests I've seen with it, yes., It seems quite good, and a whole lot better than anything on the wii side. Have you looked into using the LEAP Motion SDK? The SDK is not available to the public yet, but you can apply to get it before its release by contacting the guys at Leap. I'm sure there is more info to be got from their website. I think one of Victor's colleagues has done some work with the Kinnect and Csound in the past, so I don't think there are any issues with using them together. Rory.
