hello, wonder if you can start to render (in real-time) of csd (a frontend, MacCsound or CsoundQt) to start a synchronized video at the same time (eg Quick time player, iDVD or other software ...)? thanks, enrico -- View this message in context: http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/csd-and-video-tp5713518.html Sent from the Csound - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

hmm, there seems to be multiple issues that may make synchronization difficult here, but if you preload the video and then send a signal from csound (OSC or perhaps a system call, not sure) when the sound starts, it *might* work ok for a short work. Syncronization between video and sound may drift if it goes on for some time. If the video is pre-rendered anyway, perhaps it would be better to render the output from Csound as an audiofile and mix than into the video file? best Oeyvind 2012/6/1 Enrico Francioni <francioni61021@libero.it>

As I already wrote, I was suggested to work with jacktransport ... [http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/audio-video-sync-td5455026.html] but my MacBookPro will not hear the pilot jack! What I would do is simply to start rendering the CSD is also the active play of the video player (or iDVD QuickTimePlayer ... or other ...) ... that's all! e -- View this message in context: http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/csd-and-video-tp5713518p5713543.html Sent from the Csound - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
