Sorry I was unclear. What I meant was that csound5gui sort of
bridges the gap between using (and having to remember) command
line options and using a gui like winxound or qutecsound. It's
been a while since I've used it, but as I remember, the
interface was helpful in 'prompting' you for the kind of info
that you'd need to open a file using the command line, or that
you'd include in the section of a csd. It was a
rather simple interface which I found useful, especially for
exploring the orc/sco files on the Csound book cd, and on the
internet.
I do have a question..if I copy csound5gui.exe from 5.09 into,
say, 5.12.1, will the newer features and opcodes of 5.12.1 be
available? Thanks again.
