Thanks for the information.

The installer is supposed to look for Python. If Python is not found, the 
installer is supposed to let the user abort installation to install Python 
and restart the installation, or to proceed to install but without the 
Python features. I am trying to find out if this works (it's hard to tell 
since of course I do have Python installed and it's tedious to install and 
uninstall it).
