Hello,

I am using syncgrain and need to define the soundfile name from the score,
but when writing p5 instead of a filename in the orchestra like this:

asig1, asig2 diskgrain "Piano_F.aiff", 32000, kfreq, ipitch, igrsize,
ips*istr, gitenvelop_ , iolaps+1

INSTEAD I WRITE

asig1, asig2 diskgrain p5, 32000, kfreq, ipitch, igrsize, ips*istr,
gitenvelop_ , iolaps+1

and then giving the file name to p-field five in the score I get this error:

error:  input arg 'p5' of type p not allowed when expecting S

Is this normal behavior?
