Did you install both the doubles and the float versions before looking for
any of the files?

I'm curious because I noticed while testing the 10.5 installer that if you
install a package with the same identifier as a substantially different
pacakge that was previously installed, the Apple installer program will
consider it an "upgrade" and delete any files from the older package that
are not in the new one.
