I posted MP3 and FLAC versions of five new pieces done using Csound and some
orchestral samples. They are all made in 53 tone equal temperament.

The liner notes in a PDF file describe some of the ideas, with some nice
pictures of the Hoh River Valley. As always, it's fake but accurate.

Hello!
I've just listened to part of your work. And partly my ears did enjoy it.
The rest of the enjoyment unfortunitely had to come from my minds ear only.
But that's just because I'm so atuned and drawn to natural harmonics. Although
I must admit, that I'm partial to the last piece, the slow dance.
and the overall sound, the mix, the sound components have a cozy feel to
them. Yes cozy: Inspite of the equal 53 tone scale you used, it gives an
impression of nature. Of land.
Let me know, if you ever do a variation of this in stupid old 12 tones with
2**(-12) factor allignment. :-) Might be very enjoyable for a quiet summer
evening.
I hope, you don't feel this comment spiteful or anything. It's meant as it
is written.
   Kind regards
        Julien

I'm not sure that I understand your comments Julien. I thought that 53 TET
gives pitches much closer to just thirds, fifths, and sevenths (i.e. natural
harmonics) than 12 TET. I guess though that it depends on which of the 53
tones you use! :)

Anyways, I'm listening now and am greatly enjoying the mix of timbres and
exotic pitch relationships (which seem to become part of the timbre at
times). Thanks Prent!!

Bravo, Prent. I really enjoyed 'Walking Down Blue Glacier'. I've
never tried 53-tET. I'm trying to recall who I once associated with
it, but drawing a blank.
I hope you don't mind if I share these links.
