Hi, I've been using MacCsound with an older release of CSound5 and recently tried to upgrade to Csound 5.10 only to find that MacCsound won't work any longer and it crashes whenever I try to render a file. I mistakenly deleted files in an attempt to remove the latest version of Csound and return to an older version and now I can't even run CSound from the command line. I tried simply downloading an older CSound5 installer which seems to re-install it correctly but when it's done Csound still won't work and I'm still left with the newest version installed. I was wondering....how can I completely remove CSound from my computer so I can reinstall it from scratch? Which files do I need to delete? Sorry if this is an obvious question but I haven't been able to solve it. I'm on a PowerPC G4 running Mac OSX 10.4.11. Best, Nicolas Windows Live™ Contacts: Organize your contact list. Hola Nicolás, Cómo va todo? Dónde andas? You can try QuteCsound instead of MacCsound, QuteCsound should open all MacCsound files (Most widgets will look somewhat larger, but everything should be working). It will give you better performance if you are on an Intel machine, and is compatible (actually it requires) with 5.10. qutecsound.sourceforge.net If something doesn't translate well from MacCsound, I'm very interested to know.
