Hello! I wonder whether diskin2 is working correctly. In the attached, simple score, the second instruction should add 5" of delay (according to the manual for iskiptime) to the same file (santuri.aiff, but any file would also work), but it doesn't. Does anybody know why? Thank you very much. Marco |

Hi Marco - I think it's because you've set the iwrap parameter to 1. When you set a1 diskin2 p4, 1.0, p5, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 (or just a1 diskin2 p4, 1.0, p5) instead of a1 diskin2 p4, 1.0, p5, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0 it works, doesn't it? Hello, Joachim, It is indeed the way you wrote. Thank you for the advice. Perhaps the csound manual should mention this, since one might also imagine that a negative iskiptime would add some delay to diskin even if then the file is looped (wrapped). Schöne Grüße!
