One thing you might try is do substantial pitch shifting or
frequency shifting,
which will move the amplitudes, then recombining the
freqs of the original signal with the shifted amplitudes
using pvsvoc.

But I guess it's also possible to do it using tables.

That's a very interesting idea will try it tomorrow. I finaly managed
to implement it as a udo using tables. I'll post the code here soon.
