Subject[Csnd] Speaking of New Music - New ePiece - Celestograph I
Speaking of new music. I've built my first new electronic piece in 5
years, Celestograph I last week. It uses the Wendy Carlos harmonic
series tuning and does not use Csound. The piece does use the Wendy
Carlos harmonic series tuning and is a celestially inspired
processional. The title comes from a photographic series by August
Strindberg in which he made photographs directly exposed to the night
sky, without a lens. He believed the lens warped the direct expression
of the stars. Just getting my feet wet for a new album to be called
Celestographs. I used my old TG77 piped into my A5000 for this piece.
