No I only tried it properly yesterday and hadn'r reported
it yet! It's not working in Ardour for me: well it works in the sense that
it's recognized and loaded (I'm using the native version of ardour on os x
10.4.9). But it crashes (like the granulator csd example) and/or I get no
audio (the gain csd). Or it makes no noticable difference (the flanger).
Thanks for the reply. I do hope it's me doing something wrong cos
I love the idea of automatic csound plugins in ardour! I tried it in
audacity but I can't get it to work there either, the same
problems. Thanks Peiman

csladspa does not work for you? It works
perfectly here with
OSX 10.4 on Ardour and Audacity. I can't
see why it should not
work elsewhere.
Maybe you reported this here, but I can't
remember it.

This Looks great, I am still looking forward to seeing
your csound AU developed :-)
Particularly becasue csladspa is
not working for me on os x (crashes or makes no sound).

Hi
Matt, I'm not sure with what I'm comparing it, or what sort of FB
you want but but I downloaded the .dmg etc. Hit the render but
no audio 'until slider 1 is adjusted, then RT audio is "loud and
clear"
hitting the render button again (whilst rendering is
in process) causes a fatal exception. I also managed to lock it
up (twirling ball) by swapping from RT to file and back whilst
rendering. Some audio data was written to file during
this.
cheers, David

let
me know if it works!
this is still just in trial stage
(see the README for the limitations)
for those of you
MacCsound users with intel macs, this may prove useful: you can
edit the gui contol interface in apple's Interface Builder, give
each a unique channel number (no strings yet), and use the
"invalue" opcode to get the controls' values just like in
MacCsound.
i hope to compile a version of MacCsound that is
not linked to csoundlib, so you will not need to install the ppc
version of csoundlib and at least use it as an editor. from there,
a gradual migration from old to new technologies will be
possible..
