Apologies for the shameless self promoting. I have two sound installation pieces (one old one new) exhibiting on Wednesday and Thursday this week in Berlin - if any Csounders were in the vicinity it'd be nice to say hello. Both pieces use Csound of course.

Looks good Iain, maybe we'll see them in Ireland too at some stage.
I've seen pendulum which I really liked, I'm looking forward to seeing
the other one soon!

Subject[Csnd] Converting USB device's input to MIDI?

Hello list,

I want to use a USB Logitech Steering wheel to control Csound. Is there any opcode available  that turns USB input into MIDI messages?

Best regards,

Diego Saa

I'm not sure there is anything so straightforward. If you know a
little python you can use pygame and some python midi modules to
convert the information from the steering wheel to midi, better still
convert it to OSC, I'd imagine its easier.

Rory.
