Rory,

I probably overstated.

Mike has indicated his intention only to build double binaries of Csound for 
Windows from now on, if I read him correctly. I believe his pre-release of 
Csound 5.11 is his first move toward a single build.

As you know, this concerns me. However, what potentially concerns me more is 
that Mike is (gratefully - and I appreciate it very much) also now involved 
in Linux builds/patches - particularly in trying to solve the 
Csound5.10/Sugar/Python interface dilemma. (No Sugar Activities using Csound 
currently work in Sugar on a Stick/Fedora11.) I'm sure Mike's interest in 
this work is due to his expertise and interest in python; and Sugar 
Activities are python scripts. I doubt that anyone knows as much about 
interfacing python and Csound as Mike does.

My main concern in this forum is to carry the torch for Csound float, and to 
make the case for why the float version continues to be desirable. 
(Incidentally, I am open to being shown lacking.)
