Subject[Csnd] csoundrc and asio question
Hi all,
i have two different question:

1. about .csoundrc file, is it possible to have different name (i.e.
play.csoundrc) and tell to csound what .csoundrc file use?

2. about asio i have read on list (thanks) that normally last device listed
by csound is the asio, and now i can use my usb audio interface with a good
quality/latency setting, but when i stop csound with cntr-c (using console
or scite) i have an audio loop of last few micro seconds (sorry i don't know
the exact world) and i can only stop that detaching usb. Asio driver
problem? My settings? Or?

Thanks,
ciao,
fran.

Thanks Mr Lazzarini,
i will try to reinstall audio driver (i'm using edirol ua4 fx, very cheap).
Maybe could i try to use asio4all instead of edirol driver?
And: portaudio come with csound and then i can not change portaudio if i use
pre-build version, right?

many thanks,
ciao,
fran.

Does the Edirol UA4-FX lack an ASIO driver? I have an UA25-EX that
does have an ASIO driver....

Mike

Yes it has asio driver,
but i have some trouble stopping csound (i said in first message). I'm not
so sure about asio, portaudio and csound, but when i stop csound with cntr-c
audio do not stopping begin a loop.
Now i will try a new installation of asio driver and then i'll try to
understand.

Many thanks
ciao.
