[Csnd] gametrack and HI device question

Has anyone ever tried one of these in csound (or elsewhere)? Looks pretty cool so we just had one ordered for a project but I can't get it to output anything into max or PD. Is there a Hi device opcode in csound?
Thanks Peiman

I'm not sure, but it sure does look like fun. I guess you could always interface with Pd/Max? On 23 January 2014 02:18, peiman khosravi |

Seems you've already been there. So, any luck with it? On 23 January 2014 14:11, Rory Walsh |

hello,
No luck I'm afraid. It turns out I have the wrong type.
And it turns out that if you get the "PC version" it just works without the hack.
I'll report back once we get it working! In the mean time: it would be nice to have an opcode that accepts inputs from usb devices like hip in pd-extended or hi in max.

I've used pygame in the past for simple interfacing with HID devices but a dedicated opcode would be nice. On 23 January 2014 16:06, peiman khosravi |

I guess with the right device it should work in max and pd too so interfacing with csound is easy. But it does seem like something that's missing in csound.
