[Csnd] output of partials to table

Hello [Victor!], Is there any chance that we could have an opcode to write the output of the 'partials' opcode into tables? Basically the TRACK formatted version of 'pvsftw'. I would like to try the spectral panning stuff with 'partials' to avoid FFT artefacts.
Thanks Peiman |

this would be awesome and useful/insightful too. -dB

Hello,
and if not an opcode, how can one read and the data from from the stream of opcode partials? Let's say, I want to print out the requencies of the partials.
greetings, tarmo

Yes, same here. I would like to have access to lists of: partial number, freq, amp, phase. And be able to modify the data and write it back to pvs stream for resynthesis. Best, Peiman

Yes of course, there is no rush. I'll think about the best way of doing this in terms of usefulness to different tasks as I understand it's rather complicated because it is all happening in real time. Another thing is that I am getting lots of discontinuities in the output when the partials terminate too quickly (with higher threshold values). Maybe some sort of smoothing would be great. Thanks Peiman
