Subject[Csnd] 0dbfs=0
I might just have a broken installation; this isn't the only strange thing
happening. But it's pretty strange. This prints out "0dbfs = 0". I've been
faithfully using 0dbfs instead of hard-coded values for years!

This sounds lik eth ebug that was fixed with the introduction of separate
input and output number of channels. In one place the 0dbfs variable was
being read from the wrong place.

So EXACTLY which system are you using, and what is its provenence?

OTOH it might be nice if I can find a workaround for multiple strings in

It doesn't make sense to me to release older (and buggier) code if a
better version is available, especially if it's going to delay the
5.13 release until the end of the summer. That's all I was thinking.

Also, packages are usually built from CVS HEAD instead of from the
corresponding CVS tag... so the release would be closer to 5.13 than
5.12 anyway
