| Maybe the subject line is an overstatement. Something I've discovered about outrg: later-defined instruments with lower starting channels can somehow interfere with output. I've attached a csd. I discovered it while outputting to a 16-channel wav file, but it does the same thing with nchnls=2. If you switch the first argument for outrg for these two instruments, it sounds fine; as they are, they seem to create some kind of feedback, or a channel isn't cleared or something.
