[Csnd] jack port names

Subject[Csnd] jack port names
I noticed this again recently. I'd like to route 16 channels from Csound
into Ardour. Ardour's jack port names have spaces. Csound's command line
can't read jack port names with spaces. I've tried a bunch of workarounds,
no success. Someone recommended qjackctl a while back, but that requires
setting up a separate patch for each configuration. Is there some way I
don't know about?

You could try doing it internally using the Jacko opcodes.

Hi,

Would using the system opcode to call jack_connect work?

Cheers,
Andrés

Thanks for the suggestion; I'll give it a try when I'm conscious.
