Thanks everyone! I'm really happy about this!

It is really a great way to mark QuteCsound's second anniversary!
(Although it technically has more than two years, the first commit was
on May 28th 2008)

Although I had some ideas about what I wanted to make, it has really
been shaped by all the contributions and suggestions from everyone who
has participated, so a big thanks to all! (now I feel making an
acceptance speech =) )

And I agree that this also reflects on Csound. Of course QuteCsound
wouldn't exist without it!

So it's a nice time to be using Csound =)

Cheers,
Andrés

Hey, come on!

I make free software, if you think it's a piece of shit, please don't
use it and shut up.

There are many alternatives, like emacs modes, vim modes, WinXsound, blue, etc.

But please! If you find something wrong and your intention is that it
gets fixed, please report it in a way that makes me want to fix it,
instead of making me want to delete your message.

Cheers,
Andrés

Hey, come on!

"I make free sofrware!" - what I'm fucking cool. I just want to say that QuteCsound is toy odd job and bikes reinvention. I can
suggest that QuteCsound is planed to be newbie-crossplatform editor. But you can't understand that if man can't configure ide, run examples from command line or something similar, he is nothing to do with csound at all. QuteCsound is just ugly and buggy "editor".Why to make it part of csound package? Why it shit constantly crashes?

Emacs is free software too. but it's normal editor. It has all the functions, modes, block commands. shortcuts and customizations. Even newbie can setup it for easily for csound base using.

You have a lot of claims - "I got a prize!". Why  you not to try to help in csound-x development, or not to take some normal ide and write mode for csound. No. You want to invent bike and it's bike is buggy as shit. Why it permanently crush??? Can you tell me how to just delete line? Who can remove QuteCsound from standart installation? What was bad with last csound laucher (for newbies)? Why FLTK dont work? QC is degenerative tool. And it's step backward.

I am responsible for the standard installation of Csound5 on OSX and I am not removing it from the distribution. Your e-mails are very offensive and I would like to ask the list moderator to remove you from it. Andres has been very gracious not to respond your earlier insults. This is a community dedicated to free software and music and if you do not like neither you should just leave. Enough is enough.

No! Please! Dont remove me! I have nothing wrong about free *music* software - it's just a couple of desabled. Sometimes, when a comunity will be good enought, and QuteCsound will be not so settling shit, they grow arms and legs, and Nuendo, Reaktor,Max/Msp and Waves will suck all together.

Hey, come on!

I make free software, if you think it's a piece of shit, please don't
use it and shut up.

Yes, please remove Dima from the list. There is no need for insulting
posts here. This is meant to be an informative forum, where
users/developers can express thoughts and ideas in a postive manner.
His posts are vulgar and are starting to irritate me.

I think the point is the discussion and language on this list will
have a minimal level of politeness and a lack of profanity and
obscenity. Otherwise, good-bye.

I don't say that emacs is for newbies. I try to say, that even newbie can configure minimal set of necessary functions (is there so hard to install csound-x toolkit?). Qutecsound not for newbies. Its primitive and weak. And again. it's crush alot. Do you try to run my examle? What wrong with it. Thanks.

You could try Csound-X for emacs if you already enjoy using emacs. I
haven't tried your examples as I don't have QuteCsound installed on
the machine I'm writing from unfortunately.

Hi Victor,
I was joking when I said "troll" (putting Emacs and Newbies in the
same sentence just made me laugh). I think Dima was trying to ask a
valid question in an incendiary and rude manner.

I should really have just pointed him to:
