I suggest that everyone just be aware and drop out 
the redundant "Re:" from the "Subject" heading in 
emails, at least for now. 

This does tend to get silly after a time.

I try to make a point of doing that myself, but
sometimes emailing in a hurry I forget. I'll do
better, maybe everyone can too?

I have asked about that and was told that the latest version of the
software has it fixed; but getting the university's software staff to
implement it seems hard.
