Hi, I have only downloaded a few of these for a simple test some years ago - remember that they were OK. http://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/MISpiano.html Best, Andreas Bergsland

I use the commercial Pianoteq, a very good physical model of the piano as a VST plugin. This works faultlessly in Csound both on Linux and on WIndows. I love it! Other than that, there are decent free SoundFont pianos that work well enough with the fluid opcodes. I use Piano Steinway Grand Model C (21,738KB).sf2 and Piano Grand Steinway V1.0b (29,651KB).SF2. These were downloaded from a free site some years ago, don't know if they're still available but of course you can google. If I didn't have the Pianoteq, I'd use one of these. I still use them sometimes if the piano is in the background. Hope this helps, MIke On Fri, Nov 11, 2011 at 4:58 AM, joachim heintz |
