There is also a java written table editor FJenie. I did not get exactly how the free-hand drawing works, but perhaps the code can be useful:

Steven, you are fluent in Java, can you have a look whether it could be useful to embed to Blue or the Csound main package?

Hi Tarmo,

Sorry I missed this email earlier.  I actually met the developer years
ago and encouraged him to open source FJenie, which he did.  It's been
on my list since then to look at integrating it, but my list has been
a bit long!  I'm hoping to get back to this though within the next few
months.
