[Csnd] Serial-opcodes

Subject[Csnd] Serial-opcodes
Hello!

I have a question about the serial opcodes; according to the release notes for v. 5.14 and also the beta-version of the new manual, they should be up and running and included in the standard build, right? However, when trying to use them, I get the classic "no legal opcode" error message. Running "csound -z" from the terminal confirms that the opcodes are in fact not installed/available.

What to do?

actually on OSX although the code is there, it has not been enabled to be built for release, so it will not be in the release package. Hopefully the new releases for 10.6 & 7 will fix this.

I think at this stage it will come out in 5.15, which should be released by the end of the year.
