Try installing python 2.7.  That might fix it.

The last time I had a similar problem it was because of a libsndfile
conflict. Can you check that libsndfile.dll is being employed ok. you
should be able to see it in the list of processes on the left window,
you'll need to scroll down to find it I think.

can you check these .dlls and see when they were created? also check
to see if either of those are distributed with the new software you
added. This could be a wild sheep chase but worth looking into...

Try copying libstdc++-6.dll from the Csound bin folder to the new
CsoundQt folder.

I gather the new installer was specifically to address this file dependency
issue. When I run it and then launch CsoundQt, I see the same two issues
that were reported before: CsoundQt crashes consistently when the end of
file playback is reached, and widgets are not displayed when created in a
new file.
