When using pvsfilter, I sould suspect that it does not matter which of my two input signals is used as fsigin and fsigfil? Switching the two gives a slightly different output waveform but it sounds very similar. Is it just difference in the phase of partials perhaps?

Hi Oeyvind,

The amplitude value are simply multiplied but the frequency values will always be taken from fsigin. So the phases will be different, hence the subtle difference in the character of the sound.

Cheers,
