Hi All,

I've posted a video discussing some of the new features in blue 2.3.0:

I've created a playlist for blue videos so new videos I post will get
added there.  I'm getting the swing of making these screencasts, so
hopefully will get better as I do more of them. :)

As for this particular video, it covers three main features from
2.3.0: pattern layerGroups, python console, and UDO group pasting.  If
you watch the video, you'll also find that I found some bugs. :P  As
mentioned on the blue list, I'm planning a new release next week to
fix up some other bugs I found as well as introduce a new feature.

i was watching your 2 videos but the video on Blue LIve is without voice. At one point i hear music, but your voice seem to missing

Yes, that video does not have voice as I had not figured out how to record not microphone and audio out at that time. I'm using sound flower now do that. That video is just what it is for that time.

That was a cool video but complicated because I never used blue. I just
downloaded it a day or two ago.
I'll read the manual. Is there any other material for a blue newbie?

There are the example projects to look through in the blue/examples
folder.  Besides that, the long video from the Csound Conference last
year (it's on the youtube playlist I posted) is geared towards new
users.  Most of that video still applies.  The tutorials I have
planned that will go into the next major version of the manual (2.4.0)
will be based a lot on the things I discussed in that video (building
instruments, using instruments in realtime, using the score and mixer
system).

Other than that, I invite you to join the blue users mailing list to
ask any questions there about general blue usage. It's probably a
better place than here to ask questions about using the program.
