Subject[Csnd] OT : New piece - Maquina de baile
Hi !

I am finishing a new piece called "Maquina de baile" and I would like to share it on the list, and maybe have feedback.
The piece is a tribute to Pierre Schaeffer, Pierre Henry and to the pacific andean countries.
Most of the sounds were recorded in the Amazonian forest (peruvian border) and treated with Csound, then located in time and space in pro tools.

Here is an extract of the piece (The final version of the piece will last 20 min and I'll post it when I finish it) :

The recordings were made in that occasion :

Thanks Nicolas, I will have a proper listen once I have my system reconnected. Is there a multichannel version of the whole piece?

I don't have a multichannel track. I tend to reserve the conception of various steams for the concert only. And much more now that I'll have access to an acousmonium frequently...
But, more than usually, I worked on internal space.

Hi Nicolas,

I just had a listen. It's nice. I would love to hear the whole piece diffused! Let me know when you are performing it on the Acousmonium. A trip to Paris is going to happen soon and I'd rather it coincides with your performance.

oh thanks.I'll put the whole piece soon.
The acousmonium will be in Lima/peru. and the good thing is that it will be permanent. But i am planning to put one in France too but it is more complicated. Fortunatly there still lots of aids for artistics projects in France. hope to receive one. if not it won't be possible to build one in France (and i dont think it'll be Paris, because Paris is unaffordable).
We'll organize a festival of acousmatic music in 2013 in Lima and i certainly hope to win the paiement by the organising entity the paiement of the transport...

I thought you meant the Acousmonium. Misunderstanding is caused because in English the term is reserved for the GRM Acousmonium rather than a loudspeaker orchestra per se.

But Lima sounds really amazing!!

Please do upload the whole piece.

Best,
Peiman
