I just downloaded and installed it on a fresh computer. You can get it here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/csound/files/csound6/Csound6.00.1/Setup_Csound_6.00.1.exe/download

The cause is a bug in SourceForge's file release software. If any of the files in the file release pages are symlinks, a new file that is uploaded will remain pending and will never become downloadable. I am guessing that this bug is new.

I removed the following files from the file release system:

./README
./csound5/csound5.13/README

I will replace the README in the top directory of the file release system with an actual file based on the Csound 6 readme.

Regards,
Mike

I installed it on my Windows PC, which had already Csound 5.13.
When I start Csound (also from the Csound6 folder) I still get Csound 5.13.
Do I have to change my environment variables?

Yes. Either uninstaill 5.13, or write a .bat file to set up one environment for one Csound and another environment for the other Csound.

Hope this helps,
Mike

I installed it on my windows PC which had already Csound 5.13 on it.
When I run csound now (even from the csound6 folder) I still get version
5.13.

Do I have to change my environment variables?
