Subject[Csnd] partikkel trainlet
This may have been mentioned elsewhere and I am sorry for my ignorance
if this is the case.

Does the trainlet synthesis in partikkel have an anti-aliasing filter or
should the user take care of that (e.g. reduce the number of partials as
fundamental frequency increases)?

Thanks in advance.

Peiman

It's all ok, Peiman.

And it does not alias, as it automatically adjusts the number of
partials based on base frequency and sr/2.

Currently, it will use that same number of partials during the whole
grain even if the pitch sweeps during the grain. Thom has a small
update in the works that will continuously update the number of
partials during pitch sweeps too.

Thanks very much Oeyvind. That is what I thought judging by the sound of
it. The small improvement sounds great too.

Best,

Peiman
